Building History
The Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Auditorium opened on October 1, 2021, as part of a strategic partnership between K-State's College of Veterinary Medicine and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. The collaboration supports veterinary education, professional development, industry engagement, and innovation within the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor.
The 6,400-square-foot facility serves as a venue for lectures, symposiums, training sessions and other events. It features a 220-seat main auditorium that can expand to accommodate 280 attendees, with seating designed to encourage collaboration and discussion. Interactive technology includes multiple microphones and eight display screens to enhance presentations and audience participation.
The auditorium is part of an expansion of Mosier Hall that also includes a 1,800-square-foot atrium connected to Trotter Hall. The addition features an interior walkway overlooking a four-panel mural celebrating the college's four mission areas: teaching, research, service, and graduate success. The atrium's east-facing entrance now serves as the primary public entrance to the College of Veterinary Medicine.
