Building History

The College of Business Administration was established in 1962, though its origins date back to 1866 when K-State first offered a Farm Bookkeeping course within the Agriculture curriculum. The college’s development reflects a long history shaped by institutional growth and contributions from faculty, alumni, and supporters.

About 85% of the new building’s construction costs were funded by donations from alumni and friends. The facility also includes private study rooms and a variety of open collaborative study spaces designed to support student learning and engagement.
