Many scholarship opportunities are available to help K-State students alleviate the cost of tuition. Each scholarship listed below is managed by various members of our team.

BizFest in Kansas City and Wichita, in collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offers high school students the opportunity to attend a 4-day intensive training where they learn a variety of life skills and business techniques. K-State will match these awards and offer additional scholarships to program participants who complete the program. Due: November |
Cargill Transfer Scholarship

Student Belonging & Cargill have partnered to build a college-going intent in Southwest Kansas, where the majority of the population are first-generation racial/ethnic minorities living in at-risk communities. The transfer College-for-a-Day institute is a core program component accompanied by a scholarship for financial support to increase retention and graduation for students. E. Eugene Carter Opportunity Award |
Office of the Provost and Student Belonging, in partnership with E. Eugene Carter, have established the E. Eugene Carter Opportunity Award fund as a means to promote student belonging and to increase representation within Engineering, Math, and Science curriculum. Award: Direct payment to vendor for Federal student loan. Loan pay off up to $20,000 repayable by the students upon graduation from one of the designated programs at Kansas State University with in six years of matriculation. Contact: Kevin Santos Flores |
Flint Hills Human Rights Project Student |
Applicants for the FHHRP Student Scholarship must be enrolled full-time at a Kansas State University campus, Manhattan Christian College, Manhattan Area Technical College, Barton County Community College-Ft. Riley, or Highland Community College-Wamego. GPA of 2.0 or higher. Essay is required. Applications and essays must be submitted by email as an attachment in Microsoft Word or PDF. Hattie Mae Kidd Memorial Scholarship |
Available for Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in any curriculum. Must be a resident of the United States, preference will be given to first-generation students or students with financial need. Due: October |
JE Dunn Scholarship |
K-State Student Belonging in partnership with JE Dunn, a Missouri based construction management and contracting company, have developed this scholarship to provide financial support to first-generation students who are active participants within the Student Belonging Project IMPACT scholarship program. Jim Allen Memorial Fine Art |
Available to undergraduate or graduate students in the arts. Preference given to students who are members of the K-State SAGA student organization and studying music, dance, or theatre. Essay is required. Due: March Contact: SAGA student organization |
Joey Lee Garmon Memorial Undergraduate Multicultural Scholarship

Applicants should be currently enrolled at Kansas State University as full-time undergraduate students. Applicants from all backgrounds are eligible to apply and receive the scholarship. Essay is required. Due: Friday, October 31, 2025 |
Joseph E Nisil Jr. Veterinary Medicine Memorial Scholarship |
Recipient shall be an undergraduate or graduate student properly enrolled in any curriculum at Kansas State University who is a member of the K-State SAGA student organization and is recognized as a leader for all people. Undergraduate Scholarship for Social Justice |
Applicants should be currently enrolled at Kansas State University as fulltime undergraduate students and must be enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate at Kansas State University while receiving the award.
