Tuition and Cost

Our affordable, common tuition allows you to invest in your future.

Students pay the Great Plains IDEA common price per credit hour for graduate courses or undergraduate courses at all universities, regardless of degree program or course, or whether in-state or out-of-state.

Financial Assistance and Scholarships

Students admitted to a degree program are eligible for financial assistance. Visit Kansas State University's Office of Student Financial Assistance to learn more.

K-State Global Campus Scholarships

K-State Global Campus is proud to offer scholarships specifically for distance students earning their undergraduate or graduate degree online. Students only need to submit the K-State Global Campus Scholarship Application one time per award period, as the information provided on the application will be used to determine the scholarship(s) for which students are eligible. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours in the award term.

The Great Plains IDEA Student Excellence Award

The Great Plains IDEA Cabinet will grant five (5) $1,000 awards annually for a total of $5,000.  Funds may be used for educational expenses such as tuition and books, or towards other costs of attendance like childcare or educational technology.  Learn more about the Student Excellence Awards.

The Great Plains IDEA K-State Human Sciences and Community Planning Scholarship

The Institute for Academic Alliances in conjunction with Kansas State University and Great Plains IDEA will award ten (10) $1,000 awards annually (three (3) for fall; three (3) for spring, and four (4) for summer). The purpose of this scholarship is to help cover the cost of tuition. Students can apply more than once and must be enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours in the semester that the scholarship is awarded. Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate financial need. Learn more about this award.
