Our Mission
The mission of the Kansas SNAP-Ed Program is to empower SNAP eligible audiences to make healthy lifestyle choices through evidence-based education and partnering with local and statewide organizations to improve policies, systems, and environments that support healthy behaviors. Consistent with the Food and Nutrition Services’ goals for the food assistance program, Kansas SNAP-Ed will strive towards empowering program participants with the knowledge and link between diet and health and improving Kansas environments toward obesity prevention.
