Our mission
The Indigenous Faculty and Staff Alliance (IFSA) connects and supports Indigenous faculty, staff and students at Kansas State University. Through shared learning and respect, we celebrate Indigenous cultures and work toward a university where everyone belongs.
Our mission is to create decolonized spaces on campus and to increase the presence, promotion, and support of Indigenous faculty, staff and students at K-State.
Kansas State University is located on the ancestral lands of the Kansa (Kaw people).
Kansas is home to four tribal nations: the Iowa, Kickapoo, Prairie Band Pottawatomie, and Sac and Fox. We recognize that America’s history begins and continues through Indigenous contexts.
