Wildcat OneCard
All students, faculty and staff can obtain their Wildcat OneCards at the K-State ID Center located on the ground floor of the K-State Student Union. Your Wildcat OneCard serves as your official university ID and can be used as a:
- Photo ID
- Access/Entry Card
- Computer Lab Printing Card
- Library Card
- Cat Cash On-Campus Debit Account
- Meal Plan Debit Card
On the Manhattan campus, the ID Center is located in the Kansas State Student Union and operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, during the fall and spring semesters. In the summer, it is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
To obtain a Wildcat OneCard on the Salina campus, visit the K-State Salina ID Center. For the Olathe campus, go to Room 133 to acquire your Wildcat OneCard.
To ensure the longevity of your Wildcat OneCard, avoid marking, bending, punching holes in, applying stickers to or scratching the magnetic strip of your card. If your Wildcat OneCard is lost or stolen, report it immediately to the K-State ID Center. We can flag lost or stolen cards to prevent unauthorized use. Please note that K-State and the Kansas State University Student Union are not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of a stolen Wildcat OneCard. There is a non-refundable fee for replacing a Wildcat OneCard; please refer to the fee table below for details.
US Passport or Foreign Passport with a US VISA US Military ID or Federal Agency ID State Driver’s License or State ID The previous year’s High School Photo ID Faculty and staff must have completed appointment paperwork: PER-38, PER-38A, PER-39, PER-40 or PER-41. Visiting scholars: J-1, acceptance letter from the department or a U.S. visa. REUs: The sponsoring department needs to contact the ID Center to obtain the appropriate forms. Be enrolled in "for credit" classes through K-State Global Campus. Live more than 50 miles from the Kansas State University Manhattan campus. Valid United States address, as verified in KSIS. Provide a digital electronic color copy of your government-issued photo identification (ID) In-state, fully valid driver's license or enhanced driver's license with photo In-state, fully valid learner's permit with photo In-state, fully valid non-driver ID with photo Temporary driver's license with photo Certificate of Naturalization Certificate of Citizenship Government employee ID (city, county, state, or federal) U.S. military or military dependent ID Current (valid) foreign passport U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) Enhanced Tribal Cards and Native American tribal photo ID Provide a digital picture to be used on the Wildcat OneCard that complies with the Online Photo Submission section. Payment of the card and postage fees. The card will be mailed to the permanent address.

Avoid using black and white photos.
Stand in front of a plain white background with no shadows on the face or background.
Do not wear hats, head covers, sunglasses, headphones or wireless devices that obstruct the face.
Capture a full-face view, looking directly into the camera.
Avoid glare on glasses.
Maintain a neutral facial expression.
Ensure there are no other visible people, pets or objects in the photo.
Keep both eyes open.
Do not submit a side angle of the face.
Include a capture area of 3 inches below the chin and 2 inches above the top of the head.
No group photos.
Submit the photo in .jpg or .jpeg format, no larger than 6MB.
Ensure the photo is not blurry.
Avoid inappropriate expressions.
