Faculty and Staff Well-being
Cultivating a culture of well-being
K-State is defining its future as a next-generation land-grant institution and establishing itself as a positive force in Kansas and the world. It starts by investing in the dedicated faculty and staff who make our goals possible. K-State champions a culture of satisfaction, engagement, opportunity, improvement and innovation.
Together with our next-gen strategic plan, we have the foundation needed to build a culture of well-being that lasts.
We're on a mission to become an employer of choice in Kansas and higher education. Faculty and Staff Well-being provides initiatives, programs and opportunities for employees to prioritize their physical, emotional, social and financial health.
Well-being is about empowering ourselves and our community to create a K-State that's always people-centered. Whether you're ready to recharge, refocus, reconnect or just hit pause — let's realize our full potential together!
Four pillars of well-being
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Your mental health and wellbeing deserve attention and care. When something inside of us is not doing well, it is very hard to keep going on in our daily lives and to show up at work in our full capacity.
The K-State Family Center focuses on empowering people! We are here to support you on your journey towards healing and growth, individually and in your relationships.
When we have a safe space to process grief, trauma, work-related stress, family issues, relationship distress, we might feel free to fully being ourselves, and to care for those that we love.
We operate on a sliding fee scale, and we are accepting new clients for Individual, Couple and Family Therapy. Consider giving yourself and your partner, or family member, an opportunity to heal and grow.
