Obtaining academic apparel

All degree candidates participating in commencement ceremonies will wear academic apparel. For information on tassel and hood colors click here.

Where to purchase

Any student located near Manhattan is encouraged to come to the K-State Union Bookstore to pay for and pick up their regalia. Any distance students can order their regalia online. There is a charge for shipping on the website. All items can be purchased separately as well. Renting regalia is not an option.

Deadlines

• Orders for any fine regalia orders are due by Wednesday, November 15^th. Please call or email the campus store for details.
• Faculty orders are due to the store by November 15th. Any orders after this date will incur a $20 late fee per order. This deadline is a hard deadline. It is needed to cover the lead time to build the faculty members specific hood, as these are made individually. Faculty members with degrees from K-State are excluded as hoods are carried in stock.
• Students are advised to purchase their regalia as soon as it is financially possible for them to do so, as the K-State Union Bookstrore may run out of product the week of graduation.
