Chapters
Get to know our Interfraternity (created for men) and Panhellenic (created for women) chapters!
In addition to providing information about the chapters, we are also proud to provide transparency through Community Standards Reports.
K-State is also home to several multicultural Greek chapters, referred to as NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) and MGC (Multicultural Greek Chapters). NPHC, often known as the Divine Nine , is made up of historically black Greek-lettered chapters. MGCs, on the other hand, do not have a formal council at K-State, but instead, flourish independently through the dedicated involvement of their undergraduate members and advisors.
These chapters are heavily service-oriented and dedicated to engaging the community they are a part of. While our IFC and PHC chapters at K-State average more than a hundred members, NPHC and MGCs are usually no larger than twenty members total. Their membership requirements include an established GPA, a certain number of completed credit hours, have met financial obligations, and community service requirements in order to be eligible.
The men and women who choose to dedicate their time and effort to these organizations know that their membership is not just for college, it’s for life. While they may not take part in the same processes or traditions that we do as part of PHC & IFC, the Panhellenic Council acknowledges that these groups are just as much a part of the rich and rewarding tradition of Greek life, and value their contributions to the K-State family!
