Press Start: Designing Game Controllers & Human Interface Devices
Ever wondered what makes a game controller feel right in your hands? In this learning community, you will explore how engineering, electronics, and human-centered design come together in modern gaming interfaces. Through hands-on projects, you will design, build, and test your own custom game controllers while learning how real-world human interface devices are developed. Along the way, you will compare your designs to existing commercial technologies and explore how engineers shape the player experience.
