Background
Old technology has always interested me. I love going to antique stores and looking for electronics. This radio is a Sharp model from 1964. It was broken when I received it, and the point-to-point wiring combined with vacuum tubes made it very hard for me to figure out how to repair it. I decided on modernizing it instead.
The radio was upgraded from a 3W speaker to a 50W speaker and 25W subwoofer with a Class-D audio amplifier. It has Bluetooth, FM, and an 3.5mm auxiliary input.
