Advising
Advising is a partnership. Your advisor can help you understand degree requirements, plan each semester and connect your academic choices with your interests and career goals. Faculty mentors add discipline-specific guidance and can help you explore research, internships, education abroad and graduate study.
Undergraduate students
Undergraduates work with an academic advisor, and some programs also connect students with faculty mentors who share similar interests. Environmental Science students receive advising and program support through the interdisciplinary Environmental Science Program.

Graduate students
Graduate students work closely with a major or research advisor. Advisors help students shape a program of study, develop research goals, identify funding and professional opportunities, and prepare for careers or additional graduate study.
