Professor Camille Hébert

Camille Hebert has had a passion for civil rights and privacy issues since the beginning of her legal career. She has done extensive writing in the areas of employee privacy, sexual harassment, and using alternative dispute resolution techniques for employment-related legal issues. Professor Herbert has been on the faculty at the Ohio State University College of Law since 1988, and is currently a program fellow in the Social-Legal Program on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Professor Herbert is a native of Kansas and a graduate of Kansas State University with a dual major in Philosophy and Political Science. She is also a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law where she was Editor-in-Chief of The University of Kansas Law Review, and a recipient of the Samuel Mellinger Leadership Award to the graduating law student who excelled in scholarship, leadership, and service.
Following graduation from law school, Professor Hebert served as a judicial law clerk for the honorable James K. Logan, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Olathe, Kansas. Subsequently, she was an associate of the firm of Spencer, Fane, Britt & Brown in Kansas City, Missiouri, where she specialized in labor and employment law.
