Review the MFMSC Policy Manual for information regarding the schedule of charges, policies, and expectations in the space.

Collaboration Rooms

  • The MFMSC has multiple collaboration rooms, study alcoves, and open seating throughout.
  • Study Alcoves seat between 1-4 people and have colorful whiteboard walls for studying.
  • Collaboration Rooms offer larger group meeting or event space, each projectors and drop down screen.

Fang Family Kitchen

  • Located on the 2nd Floor, the Fang Family Kitchen space provides a full-scale kitchen for groups to use.
  • The kitchen is equipped with microwaves, fridge & freezer, ice machine, electric & gas cooktops, ovens, and washing sinks. 
  • Some small equipment / utensils that can be used during a reservation. Please connect with DMSA staff about that during your reservation. 

Dr. Bosco Prayer Room

  • Located on the Ground Floor, the MFMSC has a dedicated space for prayer / meditation.
  • To accomodate all faiths/beliefs, we ask that shoes are removed and stored in the adjacent cubbies before entering.
  • Complementary prayer rugs, mats are provided in the room.

Ablution / Wudu

  • Dedicated prayer washing space located in the ground floor restroom.
  • Towels are not provided, but there is access to paper towel dispensers in the restroom. 

Yahaya Family Performance Room

  • Located on the ground floor, the Yahaya Family Performance Room gives groups a space for rehearseal, dance, exersice, and more.
  • The room features a large mirror wall, computer & projector set up, and polycom camera for zoom.

Dempsey Family Outdoor Plaza

  • Directly adjacent to the 1st Floor, the Dempsey Family Plaza gives guests space to enjoy the outdoors.
  • There are multiple tables and benches for people to sit, study, and enjoy the day.

DREAM Zone

  • Located in the former MSO office space, the K-State DREAM Zone is a safe space designated for providing support to undocumented, DACA-mented students, and those from mized-status families.
  • Information regarding scholarships, applying to K-State, and other resources can be found here.
  • Project IMPACT programs and student mentorship resources are also hosted in this space.

Accessibility

  • All outside entrances to the MFMSC building are equipped with automatic push button doors. The main entrance has a ramp as well.
  • The building hosts a spacious elevator located in the middle of the building to allow for guests to reach each floor.
  • All restroom facilities host ADA accessible stalls as well.

Restroom Facilities

  • Each floor of the MFMSC has restroom facilities, located adjacent to the elevator
  • All faciltities have individual, lockable stalls with a shared sink space
  • Each restroom has an ADA accessible stall 
  • In partnership with the LGBT Resource Center, FREE menstrual products / condoms are provided in each restroom.
