About the Multicultural Center

K-State studentsBe yourself at K-State

While exemplifying K-State’s Principles of Community, the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center (MFMSC) allows for cultural groups to have a physical space to openly express themselves and bring campus together to celebrate culture and heritage. The MFMSC rejects racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and all other forms of discrimination. The MFMSC is designed to further prepare all K-State students to succeed in a diverse and changing world.

Center Programs

The MFMSC will serve as host to events and programs that center on education and celebration of multiculturalism. Programming will be offered through Diversity & Multicultural Student Affairs, Multicultural Student Organizations and other campus departments and affinity groups.

Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

photo of Konza Prairie

Kansas State University acknowledges and celebrates the numerous sacrifices, achievements and contributions Indigenous and Native peoples have made and continue to make in this country. As the first land-grant institution and occupants of Indigenous land, it is important that we take the time as a university to continue to educate ourselves and celebrate the rich and vibrant traditions of Indigenous and Native communities.
