Race and Privilege - A Conversation

KSUnite DEIB Conference Day 3 - November 16, 2022 - Concurrent Conference Sessions Period 4 (9:45am-10:45am)
Room 227

It can be difficult to start up an open and honest conversation about prejudice and racism. This session will invite participants to engage in a dialogue with another person to further explore race and privilege. The goal is to deepen understanding and bring awareness between individuals. Participants will use a deck of cards with questions to invite healthy and meaningful dialogue.

This session will create a space for participants to be curious and learn more about one another through the lens of race and privilege.
