Diversity and Inclusion

My Blunt advice for young disabled professionals

KSUnite DEIB Conference Day 3 - November 16, 2022 - Concurrent Conference Sessions Period 4 (9:45am-10:45am)
Flint Hills Room & via Zoom (link for Zoom)

While my primary audience is disabled professionals trying to navigate how their identity as a disabled person intersects with their professional identity, this program would be useful for anyone wanting to work towards ending discrimination against disabled people. This talk will feature the personal journey of a disabled person as she navigated questions of identity and discrimination along with data used to provide a broader picture of obstacles disabled people face seeking employment.
