ASA DataFest is a high energy, weekend-long competition where undergraduate students dive into a real world dataset and race to uncover insights, build visuals and tell a compelling story.
Whether you’re into analytics, coding or visualization — or you're just curious — all majors are welcome. No experience required. Just bring your curiosity, teamwork and willingness to learn.

Learn from mentors—roving consultants who stop by to help you think through challenges. Mentors include K-State grad students, faculty and industry professionals.
Meet potential employers. Many industry partners attend and use DataFest as a recruiting opportunity, watching how students think, solve problems and work under pressure.
After two days of intense data wrangling, analysis and presentation building, each team will get five minutes and three slides to impress a panel of judges.
