Proposal Initiated in Coursedog
Proposal is prepared and submitted for curriculum review.

Assessment Review
Assessment requirements are reviewed as applicable to the proposal.

Academic Unit / Department Review
Required department or academic-unit curriculum and faculty approval.

College Curriculum Review
College curriculum committee and required college-level approval.

Graduate Review, if applicable
Graduate proposals route through applicable graduate assessment/review, Graduate Council Academic Affairs, and Graduate Council.

Faculty Senate Academic Affairs (FSAAC)
University-level academic affairs review.

Faculty Senate Executive Committee (FSEXC)
Executive Committee review before Faculty Senate.

Faculty Senate (FS)
University governance approval.

Provost / KBOR Review, if required
New degree programs and other proposals requiring Kansas Board of Regents action continue through the applicable Provost and KBOR process.

Registrar Implementation
Final system integration, KSIS/DARS and catalog processing, and other required implementation.

Routing note: Not every program proposal requires Provost or KBOR action. The final route depends on the proposal type and level.
