Coordination teams

The Division of Communications and Marketing leads and supports a variety of coordination groups across the institution in service of our strategic, consistent brand identity and communications practices.

One Voice Team

The One Voice Team was formed to assist in coordinating general university communications across our auxiliary units and campuses. This group is also the team who monitors K-State's brand perception in the market and coordinates accordingly.

Ad Hoc Marketing and Communications Team

The Ad Hoc Marketing and Communications Team was formed in 2019 as a direct result of the university's Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) initiative. The team identifies marketing needs across our campuses and works to resolve them in practice, or by elevating them to the university's SEM leadership team.

Advertising Coordination Council

The Advertising Coordination Council was established in 2022 in order to create strong collaboration on strategic enrollment management advertising efforts across our campuses, colleges and departments. Council membership is granted to one contact per unit who is engaged with the university's preferred advertising vendor.

Communications Coordination Council

College and major unit communicators serve as vital links that allow effective communication about the university's research, academics and achievements. The Communications Coordination Council collaborates with DCM to ensure consistent messaging that effectively conveys the K-State brand.
