History of the Program

The first two ISMPC conferences were organized by Hannu Häkkinen and were held in Jyväskylä, Finland in 2008 and 2011. The ISMPC series then began a world tour, with conferences held in Colorado, USA (2013), Japan (2015), Switzerland (2017), and China (2019). After a delay due to the COVID19 pandemic, the ISMPC will resume in 2024 at Pennsylvania State University, USA.
