Nominations are being solicited for several Midwest Regional ACS awards that will be presented at the 2026 MWRM. Please nominate your colleagues! These awards are:
- 2026 American Chemical Society (ACS) Midwest Award
- This award recognizes “those who have made meritorious contributions to the advancement of pure or applied chemistry or chemical education" in the Midwest Region
- A symposium in honor of the recipient will be organized by the nominator

- 2026 E. Ann Nalley Midwest Region Award for Volunteer Service to the ACS
- This award recognizes the volunteer efforts of individuals who have served the ACS through their Regional Activities

- 2026 ACS Division of Chemical Education Midwest Award for Excellence in High School Teaching

- 2026 ACS Midwest Regional Partners for Progress and Prosperity (P3) Award
- This award recognizes exemplary partnerships in the Region. These partnerships can be between industry, academia, government, small business, and/or other organizations including ACS entities

- 2026 Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences
- To recognize individuals and/or institutions that have advanced diversity in the chemical sciences and significantly stimulated or fostered activities that promote inclusiveness within the region. Sponsored by the Committee on for Minority Affairs of the American Chemical Society
