Lost Kansas Communities Research Collection

Delia, KSOur recently developed Lost Kansas Communities site, https://lostkansas.ccrsdigitalprojects.com, is a digital archive conducted by undergraduate students at Kansas State University since 2010. These student authors explored and documented small towns, villages, and named crossroads that existed at one time in Kansas. Formally based on OMEKA, this online collection is a National Humanities Alliance recognized high impact National Endowment for the Humanities project.

This website is also sponsored by NEH with additional support from Cheryl Mellenthin. We are SO grateful to be able to bring this project to life. Our students and staff have been working endlessly, and the results are clearly visible. Please check out our new Lost Kansas Communities website and let us know what you think!
