You can shape well-being at K-State.
The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is an online, nationally recognized survey used by more than 1,000 colleges and universities across the United States to improve campus health and well-being programs.
| Your participation matters. Student responses give us an overall picture of student health on our campus and directly influence the health and well-being programs we offer! |
Quick facts about the NCHA:
- It is online and confidental.
- It takes about 20-30 minutes and you can take it from anywhere.
- It covers a wide range of health topics. Think mental health, nutrition, exercise, sleep and more.
- After the 2024 NCHA survey, K-State took action based on responses. A few highlights are:
- We learned that food insecurity is a real concern on campus, so we took steps to make Cats' Cupboard more available and accessible to all.
- We learned that a sense of belonging and connection is important--but not always easy to achieve. We invested in programs and initiatives (like Oakley the Therapy Dog, Better Together and Cats Connect) to create opportunities for intentional relationship-building.
