ITS Update (Gould/Wilson)

  • See IT Update Blog for March 5, 2019. Chih-Ching Ma is taking over some responsibilities for Jennifer Gehrt and will be attending ARPS.
  • Working to get KSIS/HSIS/FSI to one vendor in the cloud, hoping insurance money will pay for it.

Registrar’s Office Updates (Cooper)

  • See Office of the Registrar - Dean's Office Deadlines for upcoming deadlines.
  • Incomplete Policy – over spring break Kathy Johnston plans to start training Dean’s office for Incomplete lapse extensions.
  • FERPA self-assessment emails have been going into Clutter for some, they will send it out again after break. HRIS training summary completion had been recording with 0 hours but it has been corrected to show 1 hour. (Qualtrics should not be going into Clutter or Junk unless rules have been set up)

Undergraduate Admissions Updates (Blankley)

  • No Report

KSIS Projects/Enhancements updates (Letourneau)

  • Sharefile – SFA using to allow secure copies of files from students and parents. Phase 2 will automatically deliver file to imageNow.
  • Student Data Warehouse – still adding things: admissions data, assessment data from CANVAS. Assisting budget process to automate budget numbers.
  • Global Campus email – UG and Non-degree email is going out from EAS, but changing to go out from KSIS, in the testing stage, hope to have done by March 15. KSIS Connections to third party systems to move to the cloud.
  • Permissions View in KSIS (Brooks)
  • Want to see who has been granted permission to add a class for courses outside of our own college. Don’t need the ability to add or change. Chih-Ching and John will talk with Charlotte to see if it was possible. HE, BU, A&S, ED, EN all agreed that this would be helpful!
