Joe Lear is leaving K-State next week. Betsy will be taking on the Director of Security tasks temporarily. There is a current internal search for the server group portion of Joe’s responsibilities.
Resolution Regarding Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017
This item will be on the CAPP agenda later this morning. The current item for discussion is a possible suspension of the 1st day of class attendance policy. Change to 2nd day of class for determining if someone should be dropped from a class.

Gender Identity, Preferred name and Verbiage Updates
- See Attachment.
- In this first step, gender Identity will be kept within a secure area and shared with the LGBT Resource Center only. Future steps, yet to be determined, will be more investigation how to incorporate changes for current students.
- Washburn asked if preferred pronoun usage was considered. Yes, it is something to be discussed in future versions. Pfaff stated that incorporation into all systems and processes would have a large university impact. Cooper mentioned that the DARS working group are discussing potential mod to utilize preferred name.
Orientation and Enrollment for April, June and August will be open on March 1st.
Projects Nearing Completion (Blake)
Track Student Internships
- Blake provided a demonstration of the student internship survey results. See Attachment. There will be a smaller modified version for public consumption at a later date.
- The dashboard allows the user to slice the data by several variables. College, response rates, academic year, time of year, by major, credit vs no credit, by company, by state, by country, etc.
- Data is being reviewed by the colleges that participated, has been shared with Dandaneau and Bosco.
- Washburn-can AG get access? Yes, contact Diana. Blake-data from other colleges that did not utilize the survey. Niedfeldt-will this be used next year, with holds? Yes. Reinhart-could interdisciplinary areas be included? Pfaff-was designed for undergraduate specifically, not sure if others could be added. Blake asked that any questions about the cohort included be sent to Kerri Keller.

Current Projects
Curriculog (Pfaff)
- Feb 1st was go-live for pilot groups for course approvals. Polytechnic were the first of the pilot groups to have submissions in the system.
- Training sessions are ongoing. Washburn voiced a big Thank You to Charlotte Pfaff for her training, it went very smoothly. As the processes of the system proliferate across campus, more users will need training.
- Single sign-on and notifications are being tested.

PeopleTools 8.55 and Campus Solutions 9.2 Upgrade (Blake, Letourneau)
Blake shared a team structure diagram and update on high level timeline.
KSIS-Talisma Integration of Current Student Data (Blake)
Close to complete, hope to complete in a few weeks.
Student Data Warehouse (Letourneau)
Monthly meetings continue.
KSIS-ModoLabs Integration (Letourneau)
Single sign on in test environment.
SSC Campus (Cunningham)
- Tutoring has been going for 1 full semester now, going well.
- Advising functionality is live now and going well.
- A few quirks and tweaks found, but nothing major.
- Vendor consultation team is reforming with different members, so new group to get to know.
