Upgrade Update (Letourneau)

  • Upgrade will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 19, and it is hoped that it will be completed on Monday or Tuesday, Nov. 22 or 23.
  • Advance messages will be posted on iSIS sign-in page and KSOL that iSIS will not be available during upgrade. Email will be sent to FAC/PRO/STAFF list and all students in advance of upgrade and also in advance of the return of iSIS.
  • Students, advisers and Faculty Senate have been involved in pilot testing. Brian Arthaud-Day will be at the Union November 10 and 17 (11:30-1:30) to demonstrate upgrade.

Other Items from The List (Crow)

  • “I/NR” (Incompletes/non-reported grades) report will be distributed to faculty November 19 before upgrade.
  • Changes have been made to Class Permission. . .will default to override, but can uncheck pieces (e.g. REQ to allow enrollment only if requisites are met).
  • Reminder:
    • Spring Graduation Application will be open January 3 – May 1
    • Summer Graduation Application will be open February 1 – July 1
  • Barb Nagel will run preliminary report on graduation honors (for reader cards) before the upgrade.
  • College reps may be contacted by Stephen Kiefer to add honor sections of courses as approved prerequisites. Use correct history to add prerequisites.
  • “WL” problems are being fixed – caused when Quick Enroll is used to drop courses after deadline – send students or forms to Enrollment Services for late drops.
  • Midterm grades for non-standard classes need to be reviewed. Depending on scheduled class dates, the call for midterm grades may fall at the end or the beginning of the class.
