Improving lives of aging adults
The Academy for Gerontology in Higher education (AGHE) is a membership group within the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). The AGHE sets cirriculum standards and core competencies for undergraduate and graduate programs. K-State is proud to use these competencies for our degrees.
I’ll be coming up with protocols and training on how to help take care of our patients with dementia and helping our older adults with how we deliver services. My master’s in gerontology definitely helped me get the position over people even with their doctorates in audiology.
