Management and Industry Option: If you’re passionate about the breeding, feeding, care, and welfare of animals, this pathway is an excellent choice. It combines coursework in animal production, nutrition, and management with your areas of interest, allowing you to create a specialization tailored to your goals in fields like agribusiness, animal health, or livestock management.
Science/Pre-Veterinary Option: For students aiming to pursue advanced degrees, veterinary school, or research careers, this option provides a strong foundation. Applied Learning Requirement

Animal Sciences and Industry
The K-State Animal Sciences and Industry department serves students, livestock producers and the animal and food industries through teaching, research and education. K-State ASI prepares students for careers in the animal and food industries. The curriculum includes the study of nutrition, reproduction, genetics, behavior, meat science and food science with production, management and agribusiness skills.
