Canvas 101

We're glad you're here! Whether you're switching from another learning management system or brand new to Canvas, this self-paced course is designed to give you the essential knowledge and skills to confidently use Canvas in your teaching. Throughout this training, you'll learn how to set up and organize your course, create learning activities, manage grading and assessments, and use Canvas’s built-in tools to communicate with students.

This course takes approximately 2–3 hours to complete, but you may find it helpful to spend additional time exploring Canvas while watching the lecture videos to enhance your understanding.
