Green zone
Behavior in the green zone is acceptable and encouraged behavior. The child may be happy and alert. There is no problem here and no reason to use authority to change the behavior. We can celebrate green zone behavior.
Responding to green zone behavior can be an important part of discipline. For example, tool #7, “Catch your child being good” tells children what we appreciate and has our approval.
