Avoid the habit of using anger to get your own way
If anger becomes little more than a club you use to get your own way, this pattern will undermine your credibility. Anger should be used as a form of punctuation to give depth to a point-of-view. If the message appears to be selfish, then your anger is likely to be dismissed by the other person.

But when the punctuation of anger is used to give emotional significance to an injustice, then the significance of the response cannot be overlooked. For example, how do you think a loving mother would react when discovering that her child had been threatened and unjustly treated?
