2011 Alumni Reunion (28-29 October 2011) Photos:  See some of the many photos from this event that helped celebrate 65 years of air-centric/Air Force ROTC at Kansas State University (Click Here).

Upcoming Alumni Events:  Nothing planned.

Visiting K-State soon?  Please inform Det 270 if your plans include a Manhattan, KS visit this fall (Aug-Dec 2012).  Cadets always enjoy meeting, hearing the wisdom of former Wildcat Warriors and USAF officers, and learning from their experiences.  Hopefully we can harmonize schedules to enable a classroom, LLAB or Cadet Lounge visit.

Help Needed!

Are you, or do you know, a recipient of the Lt Col Earl J. Garvin Distinguished Citizenship Award?
If so, please contact Det 270 at afrotc@k-state.edu or call 785-532-6600 and share this information.

The Garvin Distinguished Citizenship Award (and associated scholarship) was an annual award presented to one cadet for 36 years from 1975-2010. The detachment cadre have compiled a list of recipients but this list is incomplete. If you were a recipient, or you know who a recipient was, from the years 1975-1999 please contact Det 270 with this data.

The Det 270 cadre appreciate your cooperation with this matter and your continued support to the mission of training officer candidates to lead on active duty in tomorrow's US Air Force.
