For those who are curious, here's how the five intrapool record ties were resolved:
Seeds 1 & 2: Cat and Wocket played 4 teams in common (Circus, Seuss, Foxes, Marvin). Both were victorious versus all four. Cat's combined score versus those teams was 52-24 (+28)and Wocket's was 47-23 (+24).
Seeds 3 & 4: Circus and Marvin played 4 teams in common (Star, Cat, Lorax, Wocket). Both were 2-2 versus those teams. Circus' combined score versus those teams was 35-35 (even) and Marvin's was 34-36 (-2).
Seeds 5 & 6: Foxes and Horton played 4 teams in common (Wocket, Lorax, Seuss, and 7 Hump). Foxes' record versus those teams was 3-1 and Horton's was 2-2.
Seeds 7 & 8: 7 Hump Wump and Star Bellied Sneetches were both 1-3 in pool play. 7 Hump Wump was 3-3 overall, while Star Bellied Sneetches was 1-5 overall.
Seeds 9 & 10:
Lorax and Seuss played 4 teams in common (Cat, Marvin, Horton, Foxes). Both were 0-4 versus those teams. Lorax's combined score versus those teams was 26-52 (-26) and Seuss' was 26-47 (-21). However, Since 7 Hump Wump (the 7 seed) had played Lorax's Axe during the regular season but had not played Seuss is Loose, and since Star Bellied Sneetches (the 8 seed) had just played Seuss is Loose earlier that night, an executive decision was made to switch the seeds for the tournament.
