Join free workshops at the Innovation Lab
This semester, the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab is hosting several free workshops. All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend, but registration is required. You can register by clicking on the links for each workshop.
- March 22 at 4:30 p.m. "What You Need to Know in Order to Sew"
Have you ever wanted to get into sewing, but didn't know where to start? Look no further! From threading a machine to tackling common issues, this class will help you gain a solid foundation in essential sewing techniques.
- March 27 at 3 p.m. "Bookbinding Workshop: Instant Sketchbook"
Are you curious about the basics of bookbinding? This workshop will teach you how to fold, cut and sew your very own sketchbook with a cover. Instructions, materials and tools will be provided for this event, but feel free to bring your favorite pencil for drawing in your book.
