Carl R. Ice College of Engineering announces 2024 Engineering Ambassadors

MANHATTAN — The Kansas State University Carl R. Ice College of Engineering has selected 32 students for membership in the Engineering Ambassadors organization.

Engineering Ambassadors are current engineering students chosen to promote the engineering profession and act as hosts for the college. Each ambassador assists with recruitment initiatives that occur both on and off campus.

Students with strong academic and leadership records are eligible for membership and must have successfully completed the engineering leadership program, E-LEAD, in addition to participating in an interview selection process.

Advisors Leanne Reineman, assistant director, Grace Stanfield, recruitment coordinator and Craig Wanklyn, assistant dean, announced the following members for 2024:

Surabhi Rao, sophomore in biomedical engineering, Andover; Lucy Haller, sophomore in architectural engineering, Benton; Jude Conley, senior in computer engineering, Centralia; Ally Hower, sophomore in architectural engineering, Council Grove; Adam Blanchat, junior in industrial engineering, Danville; Sara Murphy, senior in industrial engineering, De Soto; Pete Hamilton, sophomore in chemical engineering, Lansing; Sarah Jensen, freshman in industrial engineering, Leavenworth; Peter Stoltz, junior in chemical engineering, and Matthew Wilson, sophomore in computer science, both from Leawood; Ethan Ko, sophomore in mechanical engineering, Lenexa; Ryan McClure, junior in civil engineering, Manhattan; Holden Artzer, sophomore in biomedical engineering, Olathe; Arian Alhosseini, senior in biomedical engineering, Tyler Carlgren, sophomore in mechanical engineering, Marie Connelly, junior in industrial engineering, and Chelsea McCollam, freshman in chemical engineering, all from Overland Park; Evan Harris, sophomore in computer science, Shawnee; Tyler Tarman, freshman in mechanical engineering, Topeka; Quinlan Seeberger, sophomore in computer engineering, Wamego; Corbin Hoppas, junior in mechanical engineering, Zyada Mekonnen, sophomore in computer science, and Sarah Sinclair, junior in mechanical engineering, all from Wichita.
