Announcing new option for KSIS course search

Submitted by Kelley Brundage

An additional option in KSIS will allow for a different method of interfacing and using the Class/Course Search. This new option will be available Monday, Feb. 19, for all faculty, staff and students.

The additional search option is known as the KSIS Fluid Course search, and help pages are available as a reference for using this new view.

Fluid allows KSIS to scale pages from large devices — laptops or desktops — down to smaller devices such as tablets and smartphones, making KSIS more mobile friendly.

With the widespread use of mobile devices, it is essential to make KSIS mobile friendly as well as stay up to date with changes and items that may no longer be in support within KSIS such as the current Classic view.

Will the Classic view go away? No, this view is still available in KSIS, however, we encourage you to try the new Fluid option and share your feedback via the KSIS Fluid course search feedback form.

For faculty, staff and the public it is recommended that you access the course search via the links below:

For current students, please follow the instructions on the following help page for locating the two course search options at KSIS: Locating the student course search options.
