Retirement reception to honor Kathy Coleman at 2 p.m. today
K-State Libraries invites the K-State community to join us in celebrating the retirement of Kathy Coleman from 2-4 p.m. today, Feb. 22. The reception will take place in the Hemisphere Room, Room 581, of Hale Library.
Having devoted more than four decades to Kansas State University, Coleman's journey at K-State began in the controller's office. She soon moved to K-State Libraries, where she began working in interlibrary services as a library clerk. Over the years, she ascended through the ranks, eventually reaching her current position as interlibrary services coordinator. Coleman's leadership in this position, especially in the aftermath of the Hale Library fire in 2018 and throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, have truly left an indelible mark on K-State.
