Stecklein to present oSTEM lecture Friday, Oct. 6

Hannah Stecklein, 2020 graduate of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering will present on their education and career as a young alumnus at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, in Fiedler Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Stecklein graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for a Master of Fine Arts in stage automation, graduating in May 2023. Their education and career focuses on stage animation and performance.

The event is sponsored by K-State Out in STEM, or oSTEM, the Women in Engineering program, the DOW Center for Multicultural and Community Studies, the LGBT Resource Center and the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering.

The event will be in person or streamed live at k-state.edu/lgbt.
