Students interested in water-related research have the opportunity to win travel awards for the upcoming Universities Council on Water Resources conference in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The awards are sponsored by the National Institutes of Water Research, and one awardee per region will be chosen at random. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to enter, with awards ranging from $1,200 to $2,500.

The conference will take place from June 13-15 and will focus on critical water issues facing the western United States, the continent and globe. Participants will learn more about the development of new and innovative collaborations and transdisciplinary solutions to complex water problems.

More information and a link to enter the prize drawing can be found on the Kansas Water Resources Institute page. Kansas State University is a member institution of the Universities Council on Water Resources.
