Mathematics colloquium tomorrow: A mathematician's career at NASA

Submitted by Reta McDermott

Charles Armstrong, NASA Johnson Space Center, will present "A Mathematician's Career at NASA" at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in 122 Cardwell Hall.

Abstract: After graduation, what do you do with a math major? In this presentation, Charles Armstrong uses his 33-year career spanning the space shuttle and ISS programs at NASA's Johnson Space Center as an example of what a Math major can do.

It’s not all differential equations and proofs.
