Assistant professor Katie Kingery-Page is one of six national finalists for the New England Resource Center for Higher Education's 2013 Ernest A. Lynton Award for the Scholarship of Engagement for Early Career Faculty.
Nominated by the university's Center for Engagement and Community Development, Kingery-Page was selected from a pool of 35 candidates representing a range of institutions and disciplines. Ernest Lynton defined faculty scholarly activity as inclusive, collaborative and problem-oriented work in which academics share knowledge-generating tasks with the public and involve community partners and students as participants in public problem solving.
