K-State CrossFit to offer Ladies Boot Camp: Operation Hotness
Less time in the gym with better results
Are you interested in getting in better shape or improving your fitness but do not want to spend hours in the gym? Are you a little intimidated by fitness programs, but would like one designed specifically for women of all ages? If so, then Operation Hotness is for you. This eight-week program meets four days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
We use safe, effective and functional everyday movements performed at a relative higher intensity. You will be challenged daily but the format is noncompetitive and focused on results. Best of all, you will enjoy doing it.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No prior fitness experience is required. All workouts will be individually scaled to your fitness level by Shely Weinrich, master's of public health, a CrossFit certified instructor. All workouts will be conducted in small groups – three to eight members – and are constantly varied in format and exercises involved. Each training day will include a strength focus followed with a short workout.
Location, date and time
Operation Hotness will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for eight weeks at $120 per month or $240 total. A class will be offered on Wednesday for any days missed throughout the week and/or to provide additional services, such as nutritional counseling or grocery shopping trips as well as goal setting development. Child care will also be available for a small fee if needed. The next session starts Monday, April 2, and runs through Friday, May 25.
Additional times can be added if the 8:30 class time does not meet your needs.
