Youth wellness program participants needed

By Richard Rosenkranz

K-State researchers from the Physical Activity and Nutrition Clinical Research Consortium are currently recruiting girls aged 8 to 13 years to participate in a wellness study.

Sara Rosenkranz, assistant professor of food, nutrition, dietetics and health; David Dzewaltowski, professor of kinesiology; and Richard Rosenkranz, associate professor of food, nutrition, dietetics and health, are conducting a health promotion study to compare the effectiveness of two home-based coaching intervention programs, each lasting 12 weeks during the fall semester.

Parents of interested participants can contact Richard Rosenkranz at ricardo@k-state.edu for more information about the study.

This study has been reviewed by the Kansas State University Institutional Review Board and received approval number 6296.
