Certification and licensure testing
Kansas State University, in partnership with ACT Inc., CASTLE Worldwide, Educational Testing Services (ETS), and pan – A TALX Company, provides certification and licensure testing at the Testing Programs and Services Office and K-State ACT Test Center. Below you will find a list of the certifications offered by the provider partners here at K-State. To find out more information about the certification exam you must contact the provider directly.
ACT INC.: K-State ACT Center
Kansas State University serves as an ACT Center Testing Site for ACT Inc.To see which exams are offered at K-State view the link below. ACT Inc. Certification Exams Offerings
CASTLE Worldwide IBT
CASTLE Worldwide, Inc. is a full-service testing company contracted by agencies, organizations, and corporations to develop and administer credentialing exams. Kansas State, in partnership with CASTLE Worldwide, serves as an area testing center for individuals sitting for a number of the certification exams offered through CASTLE. Educational Testing Service (ETS) - PRAXIS Series Testing
Educational Testing Service offers the Praxis Series assessments, which states use as part of their teacher licensure and certification process. The Praxis I tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills.
The PRAXIS Series exams are offered in two formats. A computer-based exam and the paper/pencil exam. K-State currently provides test information and administers the PRAXIS Series tests in paper and pencil format on designated national test dates. PAN – A TALX Company
Kansas State University is an authorized PAN testing center. PAN offers high volume, high-security web-based tests and assessments for a number of government agencies and other business organizations. At K-State PAN offers the Transportation Security Administration Screener Assessment Battery tests and a variety of United States Postal Services exams.
