Rules for Dodgeball
Objective
Each team has one and only one special member who is dubbed the "Queen" (or "King," depending on who you play with). In order to win the game, you must hit the "Queen" with the dodgeball.
Rule
1. All other ordinary members of the team are either protecting the "Queen/King" or trying to hit the other team's "Queen" out.
2. Any player is out if he or she is hit by the dodgeball thrown from opposing player and the dodgeball falls on the ground. (i.e. The player and his teammates fail to catch the dodgeball)
3. Any team member can dodge a ball that is thrown at them to prevent themselves from hitting and getting out.
4. Any team member except for the "Queen" can catch a ball that is thrown at them to prevent themselves from getting out.
5. Ordinary members that are out will go on staying boundary lines of the other team's square. Out-members must maintain their positions in boundary lines and cannot move unless going to retrieve a ball. Out-members could pass the ball to teammates or throw ball to eliminate opposing players.
6. Players cannot run into opposing team’s square in any case during the game.
7. If there is a situation where only one member is left with the ''Queen," then that person cannot be hit out and is in until the "Queen" is out.
Eliminating the Opposing Players
Players are out if:
• Get hit by a ball thrown by the other team and the ball falls on ground.
Players are not out if:
• Get hit by the ball but they or their teammates catch the ball before the ball falls on ground.
The game time is 15 minutes. If both teams’ queen or king are still on the field, then the team with most out-members will lose.
