Legislative cuts to K-State and other Regents schools, June 28, 2013

Kansas lawmakers have wrapped up the work of their 2013 session. In doing so, Kansas State University President Kirk Schulz says Kansas State and other Regents schools took a tremendous financial blow at their hands. Dr. Schulz says just before the legislature wrapped up, the universities were assured by the governor's office that Regents budgets would remain flat. No additional money, but no cuts. Then, 48 hours later there were cuts across the board with Kansas State losing six million dollars.
