KBOR Summarized Assessment of Student Learning Report
The Summarized Assessment of Student Learning (ASL) report should be two-pages. The summarized ASL focuses on describing the Assessment strategies and results for each academic program over the previous review cycle. Each degree program (CIP code), including all degree levels offered (BA/BS; MA/MS; and/or Ph.D./Ed.D.), should have a summarized report; however, a combined report of all degree levels is acceptable but should preferably be a maximum of four pages.
Summarized Assessment of Student Learning Report includes:
- Summary of Program Assessment and Current SLOs
Overview of assessment in the Department/Program

- Assessment Strategies
Description of the methods used to assess the extent to which students learned
[Summary from ASL – Parts III-A-C]
- Assessment Results
Description of the results of the assessment
[Summary from ASL – Parts IV-A-C]
- Assessment Review, Actions, and Future Plans
Description of how the evidence or information gathered was reviewed and has been used for program improvements, as well as future assessment plans
