This building contains offices, classrooms and research labs for the chemistry and biochemistry departments. The lobby features models of well-known ships like the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria, the Mayflower, the HMS Victory and the USS Constitution. The lobby also showcases glass sculptures by Mitsugi Ohno, who served the Department of Chemistry from 1961 to 1996 as senior master glassblower.

History
Built in 1988, this facility improved research, teaching and library services for the biochemistry and chemistry departments. Future plans for this building include an expansion phase for additional classroom, office and library space.
